What is an injectable filler
Injectable fillers, also known as dermal fillers or soft tissue fillers, are substances injected beneath the skin to restore lost volume, smooth lines and wrinkles, and enhance facial contours. These fillers are widely used in cosmetic procedures to achieve a more youthful appearance.
There are several different types of injectable filler and these can be used in combination with Botox®. Dr. Bartlett will discuss the differences between Restylane®, Juvederm®, and Voluma® and what to expect following your treatment for wrinkles. Injectable Filler Consultation

No anesthesia is required. Sometimes topical local anesthesia, (“numbing cream”), may be offered and will be determined by you, Dr. Bartlett and his staff.
30 to 45 minutes. The exact duration will depend on the number of areas undergoing injection.
Injections are performed within the office setting.
Recovery After Injectable Fillers
Once your injection treatment is complete, you can immediately return to your daily schedule without any recovery time required.
There may be a small degree of swelling, redness, or bruising at the injection sites; these will be temporary and will resolve quickly. It will be helpful to avoid heavy sun exposure for a time.
